Police are investigating a fatal shooting on the East Side of San Antonio that left one man dead and led to the detention of three suspects.
The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Lakeledge Street, where officers responded and found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the head, torso, and leg. Despite emergency efforts, he died shortly after first responders arrived. Authorities have reported the victim’s age as between 39 and 50 years old, though identification details have not yet been officially confirmed.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, three suspects were later detained at a gas station less than a mile from the shooting scene.
Investigators say the case currently spans three separate locations, including the site of the shooting and where the suspects were taken into custody.
The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
